Guitar provides students with an introduction to this popular instrument. Students will be exposed to a large body of information, including: musical terms and symbols, chord identification and fingering, notation, strumming techniques, chord progressions, and performance. Students will be required to bring their own acoustic guitar (no solid body electric guitars) and be expected to practice at least 2 hours per week.
