Junior and Senior students may earn one credit per semester with a maximum of two elective credits toward graduation upon successful completion of this course. Students accepted as library aides will be provided opportunities to work under the supervision of a certified school librarian as they assist in the daily operation of the library. This will include assisting students with technology hardware and software problems. Training will be provided so that students will be able to circulate, shelve, and locate library materials, troubleshoot technology problems, and assist with other projects as they arise. Students may assist classroom teachers with tasks on an as needed basis. The course is graded on a Pass/Fail basis.
