We are excited to announce a text-alert system for urgent or immediate reminders and notifications. This is an Opt-In system, so in order for you to receive text alerts each person (Parent, Guardian, or Student) will need to update some settings within Infinite Campus.

We will be using this system to rapidly text everyone with emergency notifications and will use it sparingly for general messages or important reminders. By opting-in, you will quickly be notified about school delays, closures, snow days, sudden schedule changes, public emergencies, etc.

Please follow the steps below to Opt-In for Bishop Kelly Text Alerts.

• First log into your Infinite Campus portal  (If you don’t yet know how to log into Infinite Campus, send a message to helpdesk@bk.org for instructions)
• Click on the Silhouette in the top right of your portal screen

• Next select the “Settings” option from the dropdown menu

• This will open a new menu. In this new menu select “Contact Preferences.”

This will open a list with several options. For this purpose we are only looking at the “TEXT (SMS)” column. Please make sure there is a checkmark in the “Priority, General, and Emergency,” boxes. If you are also a staff member please place one in the “Staff,” box. Make sure to hit save at the bottom of the page.
