Orientation Day – August 16, 2021
The new school year is just around the corner and we wanted to let you know what to expect on the first day of school on Monday, August 16th, Orientation Day!
Please make sure you know when and where each class will be meeting on Orientation Day:
SENIORS: 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM –
Meet as a Class in the Carley Center (lunch on your own)
JUNIORS: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM –
Meet as a Class in the REG (lunch on your own)
SOPHOMORES: 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM –
Meet as a Class in the REG (lunch on your own)
FRESHMEN 8:00 AM – 1:15 PM –
Meet as a Class in the Cafeteria (lunch provided)
- All students must bring a fully charged computer to Orientation Day.
- Masks are optional, at this time.
- Students are expected to be in Bishop Kelly dress code.
- Class schedules will be available next week, on Schoology.
Orientation Day for Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores
All Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores will be going through a series of rotations that include safety and security measures, academic expectations, introduction of Community Time, pictures, lockers, schedules, parking permits, archive old files, and a kickoff about our focus of this year: WE ARE ONE!
Orientation Day for Freshmen
Freshmen will also learn about our safety and security measures, academic excellence, and community time; however, their day will look a little different. They will be given an introduction course on Schoology and Google Apps. Freshmen will also get to go through a quick “meet and greet” with all of their teachers. We will be providing lunch in the cafeteria, from 11:30pm to 12:00pm for the Freshmen only.
